Our journey begins in the heart of Catania, where we will board an off-road vehicle and set off towards Mount Etna, leaving the urban landscape behind. Are you ready to discover one of the world's most renowned volcanoes?

As we rise through the foothills of Mount Etna, your knowledgeable guide will share insights into the substantial historical and ecological significance of this stunning national park, recognized as a World Heritage Site. This volcanic site holds mentions in texts dating back over 2700 years!

This off-road excursion combines vehicle navigation with brief hiking segments, allowing you to fully appreciate the breathtaking environment. You'll explore the diversity of local flora and fauna and uncover the fertility of Etna's land for agriculture.

Your adventure will take you through ancient woodlands, close encounters with caves sculpted by solidified lava, and near inactive volcanic craters. We will also visit Bove Valley, where a charming local shop will welcome us for a taste of traditional Sicilian delicacies. Delightful!

This tour will conclude after approximately 5.5 hours, returning you to where we began in Catania.

Beverages including soft drinks, water, wine, coffee, and a liqueur will also be provided.

Important Information

Please be aware that we will travel on paved routes rather than dirt paths, as it is not permitted to access the volcano's unpaved tracks with vehicles. Depending on weather and road conditions, the tour may be conducted using a minivan.
