On this day trip to Noto, Ragusa, and Modica, you'll discover three locations that illustrate the essence of the Sicilian Baroque.
Day Trip Details
We will pick you up at your hotel in Catania at the designated time to begin the trip. Our first stop will be Noto, known as "The Stone Garden" for its Baroque buildings, where you will see the Church of St Nicholas and the Church of San Domenico, notable examples of 18th-century architecture.
Next, we will visit Ibla, the historic area of Ragusa, where you can appreciate the facade of San Giuseppe and Chiesa del Purgatorio amidst its stairs and alleys.
We will then proceed to Modica, recognized for its churches and culinary traditions. Here, you will have time to explore the town and enjoy its famous Duomo of San Giorgio.
Additionally, we will visit some of the most popular chocolate stores in Modica, known for producing chocolate of Aztec origin.
After 8 hours, we will conclude the day by dropping you off at your hotel.
