Noto, Ragusa, & Modica Day Trip

On this day trip to Noto, Ragusa, and Modica, you'll embark on a journey to discover three locations representing the essence of the Sicilian Baroque.

Day Trip Details

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Catania at the scheduled time to begin the trip to Noto, Ragusa, and Modica.

The first stop is Noto, known as "The Stone Garden" for its Baroque buildings. Highlights include the Church of St Nicholas (Noto Cathedral) and the Church of San Domenico, which are examples of 18th-century architecture.

Next is Ibla, the historic part of Ragusa. Here, you’ll see the facade of San Giuseppe and the Chiesa del Purgatorio, set in a scenic area of stairways and alleys.

We will then visit Modica, known for its churches and culinary tradition, featuring the Duomo of San Giorgio. You will have free time to explore the streets and purchase food.

Additionally, Modica is famous for its chocolate, and we will visit several popular chocolate stores producing the unique Aztec-origin chocolate.

After 8 hours, we will return you to your hotel.
