The Godfather Tour

We will pick you up from your hotel in Catania at the scheduled time and travel by minibus to discover the set locations from the filming of The Godfather.

After an hour's drive, we will arrive in the medieval town of Savoca for a guided tour of the historic center. You will see the Church of St. Nicholas, the site of Michael and Apollonia's wedding, and visit Bar Vitelli, where seating is available in the same chair as Al Pacino. The bar retains its original charm after 40 years.

During the Savoca tour, we will also view a monument dedicated to director Francis Ford Coppola against the backdrop of the Ionian Sea.

Next, we will proceed to Forza d'Agrò. Here, we will explore the town's historic center and view the Church of the Holy Trinity and the Church of the Annunciation, featured in the second and third installments of The Godfather. This town served as the backdrop for Michael Corleone's hometown.

Our final destination will be Taormina, where you will have approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to have lunch and explore the historic center, including Palazzo Corvaja, the Clock Tower, the Ancient Theatre, and the Cathedral.

The tour will conclude upon our return to your hotel, lasting between 7 and 8 hours in total.
