Join us on this day trip to the Valley of the Temples and the Scala dei Turchi, where you'll explore an archeological gem and one of Sicily's natural treasures.

Day Trip Details

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Catania to begin our day trip. During the minibus journey, we will provide information about the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento. You will visit this site at your own pace, which includes seven preserved temples, notably the Temple of Concordia, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

You will also see remains of temples dedicated to deities such as Juno, Hercules, Hephaestus, and Athena. Lunch will be at the bar at the Archeological Museum of Pietro Griffo within the complex, featuring sandwiches made from traditional products, water, and wine.

Next, we will visit the Scala dei Turchi, a striking white rock formation above the turquoise waters of the Ionian Sea. Here, you'll learn about marl, the rock that defines its color, and the origin of its name. Free time will be provided for exploration.

Finally, we'll return to Catania and drop you off at your hotel after this day trip lasting 9-9.5 hours.
