Join us on this day trip to the Valley of the Temples and the Scala dei Turchi, where you'll visit an archeological site and a natural wonder.

Day Trip Details

At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Catania to begin our day trip. During the journey via minibus, we will share facts about the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will visit this site at your own pace, including the Temple of Concordia and other temples dedicated to gods such as Juno, Hercules, Hephaestus, and Athena. Afterward, we'll stop for lunch at the bar at the Archeological Museum of Pietro Griffo, with a menu of sandwiches featuring traditional products, water, and wine.

Later, we’ll head to the Scala dei Turchi, a striking white rock formation by the Ionian Sea. You will learn about marl, the rock responsible for its color, and explore the area at your leisure. Finally, we’ll return to Catania and drop you off at your hotel after this day trip of 9-9.5 hours.
