Join us on this day trip to the Valley of the Temples and the Scala dei Turchi, where you'll visit an archeological site and one of Sicily's natural attractions.

Day Trip Details

At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Catania to begin our day trip. The journey via minibus includes information about the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento, which you will explore at your own pace. Key sights include the Temple of Concordia, part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will also see the remains of temples dedicated to gods such as Juno, Hercules, Hephaestus, and Athena. Lunch will be at the bar at the Archeological Museum of Pietro Griffo, with a menu that includes sandwiches, water, and wine.

Afterward, we will head to the Scala dei Turchi, a notable white rock formation by the Ionian Sea. You'll learn about marl, which contributes to the rock's color, and stories related to its name before having free time to explore the area.

Your return to Catania will conclude this day trip lasting 9-9.5 hours, after which we will drop you off at your hotel.

The order of visits will be determined on the day, based on weather conditions and group preference. A stop at the bar at the Archeological Museum of Pietro Griffo is guaranteed.
