Ceará Coast Kitesurfing Trip

If you're in Caucaia and have experience in kitesurfing, this activity on the Ceará coastline is recommended. The area offers great landscapes and suitable winds for kitesurfing.

Options

When booking, you can choose between 2 options, both including pickup and drop-off at your hotel in Cumbuco Beach or a pre-agreed meeting point:

Kitesurfing at Cauípe Lagoon

Departing from Cumbuco Beach, the trip to Cauípe Lagoon takes 7 km (4.34 miles). You will have 6 hours of free time for kitesurfing in this beautiful location, where the wind conditions are ideal. After 6.5 hours, return to the starting point.

Kitesurfing at Cumbuco

This option is for more experienced kitesurfers. The journey is approximately 45 km (27 miles) to Cumbuco Beach, where you'll receive information on locations for refreshments. Enjoy a day of kitesurfing between Pecém harbour, beaches, coconut groves, and Taíba cliffs, concluding the experience at an agreed point for return after 6.5 hours.

Hotel pickup

The tour includes pickup and drop-off at hotels on Cumbuco Beach. For those staying in other areas of Caucaia, alternative meeting points can be arranged.

Requirements

To rent the kitesurfing equipment, the instructor will assess your experience level. A responsibility waiver must be signed on the day of the tour.
