Get ready for an incredible hiking adventure on Mount San Liberatore, starting at via Giuseppe de Rosa in Cave de' Tirreni. This route promises breathtaking panoramic views of the Gulf of Salerno.

After lacing up our boots, we'll begin our trek from Cave de' Tirreni to the summit, standing 500 meters above sea level, for an awe-inspiring perspective of the Amalfi Coast.

The medium-low difficulty trail will take approximately an hour and a half to reach the top. Once there, take a break and soak in the vistas of Salerno, Vietri sul Mare, and Cava de' Tirreni. The blue hues of the Tyrrhenian Sea contrasting with the lush green mountains are remarkable.

At the summit, you'll encounter an 18-meter iron cross and the hermitage dedicated to San Liberatore, a historic church from the early tenth century. We will discuss the history of these monuments and share stories about the bustling port of Salerno and its maritime heritage.
