River Trekking + Tubing
The day kicks off at 10 am at Rua Borba Gato de Cavalcante, where participants will gather before heading together to the entrance of Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park.
Our adventure begins with a 3-kilometer (1.86-mile) hike along the San Bartolomé River. As we make our way upstream, expect to encounter several spectacular waterfalls and stunning canyons emblematic of Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park, one of Brazil’s key natural reserves nestled in its interior.
After completing the river trek, we’ll shift gears to the tubing experience on the Almas River. Here, we’ll glide on tubes over a stretch of 1.2 kilometers (0.75 miles), which features exhilarating rapid sections.
The tubing concludes at a serene beach within the Bacupari Reserve, where a delightful picnic awaits featuring a sandwich, a slice of cake, fruit juice, and coffee.
As our day comes to an end, we’ll stroll back to Cavalcante, with a planned return to the meeting point by 3 pm.
