Yaxha Trip

Join us on a fantastic adventure to the archaeological site of Yaxha, discovering one of the most important ceremonial centers for the Mayan civilization with magnificent temples and pyramids.

Yaxha Trip

We will pick you up at 8 a.m. from your hotel in San Ignacio and head into Guatemala. We will arrive at the lagoons of Yaxhá and Sacnab, where we will explore the ancient city of Yaxha.

Our visit includes key locations in this pre-Columbian city, such as the Astronomical Complex and Pilgrims' Avenue, providing insight into the traditions of the Mayan people while viewing the Twin Pyramid Complex.

For four hours, we will experience the lifestyle of the Yaxha Mayans and see the remains of the Temple of the Red Hands, the most visited part of the site. We will stop at a local restaurant to enjoy lunch.

After a delicious meal consisting of a meat or vegetarian dish, we will return to San Ignacio, concluding the excursion at 4 p.m.

Sunset trip

You can choose to visit Yaxhá at sunset. In this case, we will pick you up at 11 a.m. and return to your hotel at 7:30 p.m.

Necessary documents

During the trip, we will cross the border between Belize and Guatemala. You are required to carry your passport.
