This guided tour of Cazorla offers a look back in history. We'll visit the Bóveda del río Cerezuelo and the ruins of the Church of Santa María de Gracia, as well as enjoy an olive oil tasting.
Tour Details
At the indicated time, we'll meet at Calle Gómez Calderón to start this olive oil tasting of approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes. During the experience, you'll learn to distinguish the categories of virgin olive oil, tasting the local royal and picaul varieties and participating in sensorial games that will enhance your sense of smell and taste.
After the tasting, we'll head to the viewpoint of Pintor Zabaleta to begin our guided tour of Cazorla. We will discuss the historical origins of Cazorla and the importance of the natural park surrounding the town.
To admire some of the town's beauty, we'll walk along the Cerezuelo Riverwalk. Here, we can observe different species of birds, an old flour mill, and local flora such as oak trees, yew trees, and fig trees.
This brings us to the bóveda del río Cerezuelo, a key visit to Cazorla, which dates back to the 16th century. We'll reveal the legend associated with this site and visit the ruins of the Renaissance-style Church of Santa María de Gracia.
After 3 hours of activity, we'll conclude at the Plaza de Santa María, located in the historic center of Cazorla.
