Tour Details
At the indicated time we'll meet at Calle Gómez Calderón to start this guided tour of Cazorla. We'll spend about an hour walking around this town before concluding with a tasting of olive oils.
The tour begins with an overview of the historical origins of Cazorla and the significance of the surrounding natural park. We will take a walk along the Cerezuelo Riverwalk to observe various birds, an old flour mill, and local flora including oak trees, yew trees, and fig trees.
Next, we will visit the bóveda del río Cerezuelo, a structure from the 16th century that facilitated the expansion of the town. We will share the legend associated with this site and examine the ruins of the Church of Santa María de Gracia.
Finally, we will proceed to a local shop for an olive oil tasting lasting between 80 and 90 minutes. Participants will learn to distinguish between different types of virgin olive oil through sensory games.
After 2.5 hours of activity, we will conclude in the tasting room, located in the historic centre of Cazorla.
