At the indicated time, we'll meet at Gómez Calderón Street to begin our olive oil tasting.
Accompanied by an agronomist and olive oil connoisseur, you'll explore the basic foods of the Mediterranean diet. Spain is the leading producer of olive oil globally. You'll learn about the different categories of olive oil and their characteristics.
The tasting will begin with smelling the various aromas of the oils, followed by the tasting of 2 different oils: an early harvest EVOO of the royal variety and an early harvest EVOO of the picual variety, which is the main variety in Jaén.
After 90 minutes of learning about olive oil, we will conclude the tasting and say our goodbyes.
