Olive Grove & Oil Mill Tour + Tasting
At the indicated time, we'll meet at Oleotour Cazorla for a guided tour focusing on olive oil, its history, different types, and production methods.
The tour begins with an introduction to the olive culture of Cazorla, known for its high-quality olive oil.
Next, we'll explore the outdoor facilities to learn about the region's three olive varieties: Picual, Royal, and Acebuche. This includes a stroll through the olive groves with views of the surrounding mountains.
During the tour, we will visit the bodega, factory, and a museum featuring a recreation of an oil mill. The experience will culminate in a tasting of 2-3 different types of Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
We'll also see the bottling area and visit a shop that sells products made with the Royal variety of Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The tour lasts for two hours, providing a comprehensive overview of olive oil production.
