Arituba Lagoon & Cajueiro de Pirangi Day Trip

On this day trip, we'll discover the most beautiful places on the south coast of Natal and visit the Arituba Lagoon and the largest cashew tree in the world.

South Coast and Arituba Lagoon Trip

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Natal and drive to the south of the state of Rio Grande do Norte.

Our first stop will be Barreira do Inferno, the first rocket launching site in all of South America. Its name is derived from its proximity to Punta Negra beach and the reddish tones of its cliffs.

The route will continue to the Cajueiro de Pirangi, the largest cashew tree in the world, registered in the 'Guinness Book of Records'. It covers 500 metres and bears an average of 80,000 fruits per year.

Afterwards, we'll go to the Arituba Lagoon to enjoy a freshwater spot. There, you'll have time to eat a traditional seafood dish at one of the restaurants or take a refreshing dip.

Our last stop will be Camurupim beach, an area with turquoise waters and glistening sand where you can relax in the sun.

Finally, we'll head back to Natal, where we'll arrive after a total of 7 hours.
