Galinhos, a small fishing village surrounded by dunes and saltwater, offers a relaxing environment immersed in nature, featuring mangroves and deserted beaches known for their high salt concentration, allowing for floating.
A boat trip will provide close views of the salt pans and mangroves. Visitors can also head to Praia do Farol (Lighthouse Beach) using the local lighthouse taxi, which operates since 1931.
For those seeking adventure, an optional buggy trip is available, taking you through the Galinhos dunes and to the Morro do André viewpoint, the peninsula's highest dune.
