This boat trip through the Canchos de Ramiro will take us along the Tagus River to enjoy this natural environment of unquestionable beauty. What are you waiting for?

Canchos de Ramiro Boat Trip

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Ceclavín jetty and board a boat for a pleasant trip along the Canchos de Ramiro. Time to set sail!

For two and a half hours, we'll enjoy sailing through this area in the province of Cáceres, watching the flight of the griffon vultures and storks. Note that during nesting periods, crossing these waters is forbidden.

We will follow the course of the Tagus to the convergence point of the rivers Alagón and Árrago, where we will see "the giant of giants": the Canchos de Ramiro, notable for its canyon structure and surrounding pastureland.

From the boat, we'll observe the Roman bridge of Alcántara, built to span the Tagus River, which is said to "last until the end of the world".

Finally, we'll return to the departure pier and conclude the activity after a total of 2.5 hours.
