Canchos de Ramiro Boat Trip
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Ceclavín jetty and board a boat for a trip along the Canchos de Ramiro. For two and a half hours, we'll sail through this area in the province of Cáceres, observing griffon vultures and storks. Note that during nesting periods, crossing these waters is prohibited.
Following the Tagus, we'll reach the convergence of the rivers Alagón and Árrago, where we'll see "the giant of giants": the Canchos de Ramiro, recognized for its canyon-like shape and surrounding pastureland.
From the boat, we'll view the Roman bridge of Alcántara, designed to span the Tagus River and noted for its enduring structure. Finally, we'll return to the departure pier, concluding the activity after a total of 2.5 hours.
