Tagus River Cruise

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the pier of Cedillo, located on the border between Spain and Portugal. There, we'll board a boat and begin to cruise through the waters of the Tagus River towards Herrera de Alcántara, known for its Roman bridge. The Tagus serves as the natural border between the two countries, dividing the Tagus International Natural Park.

During the cruise, the crew will share facts about the culture and history of the Spanish-Portuguese border. We will view the park's diversity of flora and fauna. Birdwatching may allow us to spot species such as the griffon vulture, the Egyptian vulture, the black stork, and the imperial eagle, which is endangered.

Before reaching Herrera de Alcántara, the boat will reverse direction, allowing us to continue admiring the scenery until we return to the departure point after a total of 2 hours.
