Tagus River Cruise

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the pier of Cedillo, a town located on the border between Spain and Portugal. It's the westernmost municipality of Extremadura.

There, we'll board a boat and begin to cruise through the waters of the Tagus River towards Herrera de Alcántara, known for its Roman bridge. The Tagus serves as the natural border between Spain and Portugal and divides the Tagus International Natural Park into two sections, one managed by Extremadura and the other by Portugal.

During the cruise, the crew will share interesting facts about the culture and history of the Spanish-Portuguese border. We will observe the park's diverse flora and fauna, with the potential to see endemic bird species like the griffon vulture, Egyptian vulture, black stork, and the endangered imperial eagle.

Before reaching Herrera de Alcántara, the boat will turn around, and we will continue to admire the scenery until we return to the departure point after a total of 2 hours.
