Tagus River Cruise

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the pier of Cedillo, located on the border between Spain and Portugal.

We'll board a boat and begin to cruise through the waters of the Tagus River towards Herrera de Alcántara, known for its Roman bridge. The Tagus serves as the natural border and divides the Tagus International Natural Park, managed by Extremadura on one side and Portugal on the other.

During the cruise, the crew will provide insights into the culture and history of the Spanish-Portuguese border, as well as highlight the park's diversity of flora and fauna. There may be opportunities to observe endemic birds such as the griffon vulture, the Egyptian vulture, the black stork, and the imperial eagle, which is endangered.

Before reaching Herrera de Alcántara, the boat will turn around, allowing us to continue enjoying the views until we return to the departure point after a total of 2 hours.
