The tour continues past Porta Pescara into the historic center, including a medieval washhouse and Palazzo Mandralisca, which has a museum featuring Byzantine icons. We will also visit the Cathedral of the Transfiguration to admire its façade and Byzantine-style mosaic in the basilica's apse before concluding the tour.

Archeological Tour of Cefalù

Starting at 13 Via Umberto I, we will walk to the Archaeological Park of La Rocca. This tour begins with a walk along a fortified medieval pathway leading to panoramic views. At La Rocca, we will see Byzantine archaeological remnants, including the temple of Diana and a 9th-century BC cistern, along with ancient walls and ovens before returning to the starting point to conclude the visit.
