This historical tour starts at the Giudecca Gate, an entrance to the old town. Nearby lies the Jewish quarter, the first stop on this exploration. The tour continues to the port, highlighting Cefalù's role in films like Indiana Jones 5 and New Cinema Paradiso.

Continuing to Porta Pescara and into the historic center, the tour includes a medieval washhouse, the Palazzo Mandralisca with its museum of Byzantine icons, and the Cathedral of the Transfiguration. Visitors can appreciate its façade and the exquisite Byzantine-style gilded mosaic in the apse.

Starting at 13 Via Umberto I, we'll walk to the Archaeological Park of La Rocca. This tour begins in search of remnants of Cefalù's history.

The ascent along a fortified medieval pathway offers panoramic views. At the top, participants will explore the fortress of La Rocca with Byzantine archaeological remnants, including the temple of Diana and nearby 9th-century BC cistern, ancient walls, and ovens.

The visit concludes upon returning to the starting point.
