On this Palermo and Monreale day trip, we'll explore Sicily through its cathedrals, culture and cuisine. It will be a fun-packed day!
Description
At the time indicated, we'll pick you up from an agreed meeting point in Cefalu to start this day by exploring Sicily's cities, culture and cuisine.
Firstly, we'll visit Monreale, known for its cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We'll explore the temple, its cloisters, golden-decorated columns, and the sundial under the oculus.
After visiting Monreale, we'll proceed to Palermo. Here, we will explore the historic centre of the capital of Sicily on foot, including its Cathedral.
Next, we'll visit the Martorana Church and stroll through the Capo Market, where we'll taste some traditional products.
Finally, we will allow some free time for lunch before returning to Cefalu. The tour will conclude at the meeting point 10 hours after the initial pickup.
