Parco delle Madonie Towns Tour + Ricotta Tasting

On this Parco delle Madonie towns tour, we'll visit some of the most beautiful towns in Sicilia and enjoy a ricotta tasting on a farm.

Description

We'll pick you up at the agreed meeting point in Cefalu at the indicated time to start the route around Parco delle Madonie, one of the largest natural areas in Sicily, to visit its main towns.

The first stop will be in Castelbuono, at the heart of the Madonia mountain range. We will explore its cobbled streets and see the Ventimiglia Castle, a 16th-century fortress.

Next, we will visit Petralia Soprana, noted for its churches, squares and palaces, before heading to Geraci Siculo. Here, we will see the remains of the Geraci Castle, situated on a strategic hill.

In this town, we will visit a farmer's house to learn about ricotta making, a famous Sicilian cheese, and we will taste some ricotta. Following this, we will proceed to a local farm in Polizzi Generosa, where we will have lunch.

After the meal, we will return to Cefalu and drop you off at the meeting point 9 hours after the initial pickup.
