Pompeii & Mount Vesuvius Excursion

After pickup at your hotel in Palinuro, we'll board the bus and travel to Pompeii, one of the most important archaeological sites in Italy.

Upon arrival, we will explore the history of this Roman city, visiting key sites such as the Forum, the baths, and the Building of Eumachia, which served as the wool market and likely as the fullers' guild headquarters. We will enter the Basilica, used as a courthouse, and see the Lupanar and the Large Theatre, still active today for performances. After touring the domus, villas, and taverns, you will have free time before starting the next part of the excursion.

We will then head to Mount Vesuvius, where we will embark on a hiking route to the summit, offering views of the Gulf of Naples.

The excursion will conclude at 7:30 pm with our return to your hotel in Palinuro.
