Gagauzia & the Manuc Bey Mansion Day Trip

On this day trip to Gaguzia and the Mansion of Manuc Bey, we'll experience Moldova's traditions and history.

Description

At 9 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Chisinau and travel to the town of Hânce?ti, situated in the central western part of Moldova.

After 1 hour and 15 minutes, we will arrive at the Mansion of Manuc Bey, an elegant complex consisting of Manuc's Palace, the Steward's House, the hunting lodge of Countess Çad?r, and a watch tower.

We'll explore this 19th-century palace featuring architecture inspired by French classicism, appreciating its galleries and overall atmosphere.

Following our visit, we will proceed to Gagauzia, a village rich in ancient customs and history, home to the Gagauz people. We will learn about the Gagauz culture before traveling to the neighbouring village of Congaz.

In Congaz, you will have free time to enjoy traditional local food, with a recommendation to visit Gagauz Sofrasi, which serves traditional dishes with modern decor.

After lunch, we will return to Chisinau and drop you off at your hotel at 6 pm.
