On this tour of Chisinau, we'll explore the Moldavian capital and see the largest wine collection in the world at the Mile?tii Mici winery.

Description

At 9 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel to start our guided tour of Chisinau, where we'll see the most impressive landmarks of the Moldovan capital city!

We'll begin with a stroll through the historic centre, visiting the Town Hall, the neoclassical Nativity Cathedral, the Triumphal Arch, and the Stephen the Great Monument. This journey includes the architectural style known as communist brutalism, common in post-war Eastern Europe, featuring its notable structures and mosaic decorations.

After the tour of Chi?in?u, we'll take a bus to Mile?tii Mici Winery, located 17 kilometres (10.5 miles) south of the city, recognized as the world's largest wine cellar with a collection of over one and a half million wine bottles.

We'll explore this wine hub and its history, learning that it was formerly a limestone mine before becoming a prominent winery.

To conclude our visit, we'll enjoy a wine tasting of three of Mile?tii Mici's best wines, paired with a delectable appetizer.

After the tasting, we'll return to Chisinau and drop you off at your hotel approximately 5 to 6 hours after the pickup.
