Cavernas de Quiocta & Sarcofagos de Karajia Tour

We'll pick you up from your hotel at the indicated time and leave Chachapoyas heading northeast to Lamud. We will pass through the villages of Cochechan and Cruz Pata, then embark on a 30-minute walk to the Karajia Sarcophagi.

This site features pre-Incan sculptures with mummified remains dating back to the 15th century. Located on a cliff, the sarcophagi have been preserved from harsh weather.

At midday, we'll have lunch in Lamud, including a starter, main course, and drink. After lunch, we will continue to our next destination.

Next, we will explore the Quiocta Caves in the Peruvian jungle. Inside, we will observe stalactites and stalagmites, along with archaeological remains of pre-Incan burial sites and cave paintings from the Chachapoyan civilization.

After a day of exploration, we will return you to your hotel in Chachapoyas. The tour concludes 10.5 hours after the pickup time.
