Gocta Waterfall Day Trip

After picking you up from your hotel at the indicated time, we will leave Chachapoyas and head north to the town of Cocachimba.

Upon arrival in Cocachimba, we will begin a 2-hour hike along the trails, where you can admire the impressive plants and wildlife of the Peruvian jungle.

We will then reach the Gocta Waterfall (known locally as "La Chorrera"), a remarkable natural site that cascades down from 771 meters. This waterfall was only discovered in 2002.

On our return to Cocachimba, we will share stories about the legends associated with the waterfall, including tales of mermaids and snakes that protect the area.

The trip concludes with lunch at a local restaurant, featuring a starter, main course, and drink. We will return you to your hotel in Chachapoyas approximately 9 hours after pickup.
