Gocta Waterfall Day Trip

After picking you up from your hotel at the indicated time, we'll leave Chachapoyas and head north to the town of Cocachimba.

Upon arrival in Cocachimba, we'll set off on a 2-hour hike along its trails, admiring the impressive plants and wildlife of the Peruvian jungle.

We'll reach the Gocta Waterfall (locally known as "La Chorrera"), which thunders down from 771 metres high. This waterfall was only discovered in 2002.

On the way back to Cocachimba, we'll discuss the legends that surround the waterfall, including stories of mermaids and snakes.

To conclude the trip and regain our strength, we'll enjoy lunch in a local restaurant, consisting of a starter, main course, and drink. Finally, we'll return you to your hotel in Chachapoyas, arriving 9 hours after pickup.
