Gocta Waterfall Day Trip

After picking you up from your hotel at the indicated time, we'll leave Chachapoyas behind and head north to the town of Cocachimba.

Upon arrival in Cocachimba, we'll set off on a 2-hour hike along the trails, admiring the impressive plants and wildlife of the Peruvian jungle.

We will reach the Gocta Waterfall (known locally as "La Chorrera"), where we can marvel at this natural wonder, falling from a height of 771 meters. It was discovered only in 2002.

On the return to Cocachimba, we will learn about the legends surrounding the waterfall, including tales of mermaids and snakes that protect the area.

To conclude the trip, we will enjoy a lunch in a local restaurant, which includes a starter, main course, and drink. Finally, we will return you to your hotel in Chachapoyas, approximately 9 hours after pickup.
