Chamarel Waterfalls Tour

We'll meet at 9 am at the entrance of the Chamarel Seven Colour Lands Geopark. After a brief discussion of the itinerary, we'll proceed by 4x4 to explore the most notable areas of Chamarel. Several stops will be made at viewpoints to observe the Chamarel waterfalls, the highest in Mauritius, reaching 100 meters.

Following the viewpoints, we will travel by 4x4 to a plain to commence the trekking route, which lasts between 3 and 4 hours, covering a distance of 4 kilometers to the waterfalls. The trek will involve paths at elevations between 100 and 300 meters and crossing the Riviere du Camp, with water not exceeding knee height.

Upon reaching the Chamarel waterfalls, you will have 30 minutes of free time for swimming in the natural pools and exploring nearby caves. After this, a return trek to the starting point will occur, followed by a 4x4 ride back to the Seven Lands of Colours Geopark.

We will arrive at the Geopark between 12 pm and 1 pm, where you can explore independently the area, known for its unique sand dunes featuring seven distinct shades.
