Château de Chambord Ticket

With this skip-the-line ticket to the Château de Chambord, you can explore the different rooms of this former royal residence at your leisure. Inside, we recommend visiting the rooms of Louis XIV and the royal chapel, featuring two floors. The castle's famous double helix staircase is attributed to da Vinci and is notable for its design. Additionally, the ticket provides access to the castle's panoramic terrace for views of the gardens and the surrounding Renaissance architecture.

Opening Times

Château de Chambord opens every day at the following times:

January 8 - March 29: from 9 am to 5 pm.March 30 - October 27: from 9 am to 6 pm.October 28 - December 31: from 9 am to 5 pm.

Last access is 30 minutes before closing time. The castle will close at 4 pm on December 24 and 31, with last access at 3:30. It is closed on January 1, November 25, and December 25. Please note that these times are flexible and subject to change.

Special dates

Saturday, June 29, 2024: The castle will open 9 am - 6 pm. Due to a DJ concert, roads around the castle will be closed from 1 pm; visiting in the morning is recommended.

Monday, July 8, 2024: The castle will close at 4 pm (final entry at 3 pm) due to the Olympic Flame passing through Chambord, with expected traffic issues around midday.

Skip The Line

This ticket allows you to avoid lines at ticket offices, although you may need to wait in line at the monument for security checks.
