Your ticket to Château de Champs-sur-Marne allows you to explore its exquisitely furnished rooms at your own pace. Built in the early 18th century in neoclassical style, the interiors include a Chinese-style smoking room, grand salons, library, billiard room, and decorated bedchambers, all filled with art and antiques.

Your ticket includes a booklet in English and other languages that provides information about the château's history, architecture, and notable residents, including Voltaire, Diderot, Madame de Pompadour, and Marcel Proust. The château's gardens are also stunning, featuring elegant parterres, intricate fountains, and tranquil pathways, offering over 200 acres (85 hectares) of manicured land for a peaceful escape from Parisian life.

Opening Times

The Champs-sur-Marne castle is open daily except Tuesdays at the following times:

From June to September: from 10 am to 12:15 pm and 1:30 pm to 6:00 pmFrom October to May: from 10 am to 12:15 pm and 1:30 pm to 5 pm.

Important: final admission is 30 minutes before closing time.

Admission to the Château de Champs-sur-Marne is free for:

Young people from the EU between 18 and 25 years old.Children under 18 years old, regardless of nationality.

To obtain the free admission, visit the site’s ticket office and present a valid ID. Admission is also free on the first Sunday of the month between January 1 and March 31, between November 1 and December 31, and the third weekend of September.
