The Château de Champs-sur-Marne is one such villa, located 15 miles (25 km) outside of Paris. With your ticket to Château de Champs-sur-Marne, you can explore the exquisitely furnished rooms of the mansion at your own pace. Built in neoclassical style, the château features lavish interiors including a Chinese-style smoking room, grand salons, a library, and well-decorated bedchambers filled with art and antiques.

Your ticket includes a booklet in English and other languages, providing information about the château's history, architecture, and notable residents like Voltaire and Madame de Pompadour. The château's gardens are a splendid complement to the building, featuring elegant parterres and tranquil pathways across over 200 acres (85 hectares) of landscaped park, perfect for a peaceful stroll.

Opening Times

The Château de Champs-sur-Marne is open daily, except Tuesdays, with the following hours:

June to September: 10 am to 12:15 pm and 1:30 pm to 6:00 pmOctober to May: 10 am to 12:15 pm and 1:30 pm to 5 pm.

Final admission is 30 minutes before closing time.

Special Opening Times

On December 5 and 12, 2025, the castle will close at 4:30 pm.On December 24 and 31, the castle will close at 4 pm.

Admission to the Château de Champs-sur-Marne is free for:

Young people from the European Union aged 18 to 25.Children under 18, regardless of nationality.

To obtain the free admission, visit the ticket office with a valid ID proving eligibility. Free admission is also available for everyone on the first Sunday of the month from January to March and November to December, as well as on the third weekend of September.
