Description
In the 18th century, the wealthy élite commissioned palatial mansions to escape the pressures of city life. The Château de Champs-sur-Marne, situated 15 miles (25 km) from Paris, is one of the most notable examples. With your ticket, you can tour the furnished rooms at your own pace. Built in neoclassical style, the interiors include a Chinese-style smoking room, grand salons, a library, a billiard room, and decorated bedchambers filled with art and antiques.
