In the 18th century, the wealthy commissioned palatial mansions as country escapes from urban life. The Château de Champs-sur-Marne, situated 15 miles (25 km) outside Paris, is a notable example. With your ticket, explore the furnished rooms at your own pace. Built in early 18th-century neoclassical style, the château boasts lavish interiors including a stunning Chinese-style smoking room, grand salons, and beautifully decorated bedchambers filled with art and antiques.

Your ticket includes an informative booklet in English and other languages detailing the château's history, architecture, and notable residents, including Voltaire and Marcel Proust. Opening Times

The château is open daily except Tuesdays:

June to September: from 10 am to 12:15 pm and 1:30 pm to 6:00 pmOctober to May: from 10 am to 12:15 pm and 1:30 pm to 5 pm.

Final admission is 30 minutes before closing.

Free Admission

Admission to the Château de Champs-sur-Marne is free for:

EU young people aged 18-25.Children under 18, regardless of nationality.

To obtain free admission, visit the ticket office with a valid ID. Free admission is also available on the first Sunday of the month from January 1 to March 31, November 1 to December 31, and the third weekend of September.
