Hiking and Waterfall Rappelling
We will commence our adventure by picking you up from your La Merced hotel at the designated time and then head north toward the Kimiri area.
Upon arrival, our first stop will be the renowned Kimiri suspension bridge. After crossing this impressive structure on foot, we'll set off on a two-hour trek along the lush banks of the Chanchamayo River.
During this hike, we will have the chance to observe various native plant species, including quinos, cascarillas, cedars, and ancient ferns.
As we reach the riverbed, we’ll begin an invigorating ascent, overcoming a range of natural challenges such as rocks and small waterfalls. This is where we’ll put our climbing skills to the test by practicing rappelling.
Following this thrilling experience, we will continue to our next highlight: the Tres Reinas waterfalls. The breathtaking views here will make every bit of effort worthwhile! You will have some leisure time to enjoy the pristine waters and swim in the natural pools.
After soaking in the beauty of the waterfalls, we will take a scenic route through the forest back to our starting location, where our transport will be ready to return you to La Merced. The estimated arrival back at your hotel will be approximately five hours after pickup.
