On our 2-day tour, you'll discover the Peruvian region of Oxapampa, including waterfalls and European-style towns in the jungle.

Oxapampa 2 Day Tour

Day 1: La Merced - Oxapampa - Pozuzo

We'll pick you up from your hotel in La Merced at 8 am to start the tour. Our first stop is the town of Oxapampa, known for its wooden houses and Tyrolean-style architecture, including the Church of Santa Rosa.

Next, we'll visit the Huarapo farm, an agricultural estate producing sugar cane brandy, where you can sample products. We'll also visit a trout farm and a dairy plant. After lunch, we'll continue to Pozuzo, passing by the Rayantambo and Yuliqunti waterfalls and the Yanachanga National Park.

Upon arrival in Pozuzo, we'll check in and rest.

Day 2: Pozuzo - La Merced

The second day begins with breakfast at our accommodation, followed by a tour of Pozuzo and the Church of San José, established in 1875. Nearby, we'll see a monument to Father Joseph Egg and visit the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Francisco Shafferer Museum, showcasing objects from early settlers.

We'll next visit the Emperor Wilhelm I suspension bridge, exploring additional European-style buildings like the Budweiser house and the District Municipality. After a visit to Pozuzo's cemetery and a lunch break, we will return to La Merced, dropping you off at your hotel between 5 and 6 pm.
