Day 1: La Merced - Oxapampa - Pozuzo

This tour starts with a pickup from your hotel in La Merced at 8 am. The first stop is the town of Oxapampa, known for its Austro-German heritage, featuring wooden houses and buildings in the Tyrolean style, including the Church of Santa Rosa. Next, visit Huarapo farm, where sugar cane brandy is produced, with an opportunity to taste farm products. Following this, there will be a visit to a trout farm and a dairy plant. There will be time for lunch before traveling to Pozuzo, with views of Rayantambo and Yuliqunti waterfalls and Yanachanga National Park. Rest at Pozuzo for the night.

Day 2: Pozuzo - La Merced

The second day begins with breakfast at the accommodation. A tour of Pozuzo includes the Church of San José, the monument to Father Joseph Egg, and the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, along with the Francisco Shafferer Museum showcasing artifacts from early settlers. Visit the Emperor Wilhelm I suspension bridge and European-style buildings like the Budweiser house and the House of Culture. The tour includes a visit to Pozuzo's cemetery and a break for lunch. Finally, return to La Merced and drop off at your hotel between 5 and 6 pm.
