Perené Valley & Chanchamayo Waterfalls Excursion

Pickup is at 9 am from your hotel for an excursion to the Perené Valley. The first stop will be the Kimiri Suspension Bridge, the oldest in the Chanchamayo province.

During the trip through the Perené Valley, you will hear the legend of the area and see orange groves. There will be a stop at the Villa Progreso viewpoint to view the convergence of the Chanchamayo and Paucartambo rivers. These rivers originate from the Huaytapallana Mountains.

The tour includes a visit to an Indigenous Asháninca community to learn about their customs and handicrafts, followed by free time for lunch in the town of Yurinaki.

After lunch, the excursion continues to the Bayoz and Velo de la Novia waterfalls, each over 100 meters high. On the return journey, there will be a visit to the Highland Coffee factory to learn about coffee production, as La Merced is known as Peru's coffee capital.

After a nine-hour tour, drop-off will be at your hotel in La Merced.
