Perené Valley & Chanchamayo Waterfalls Excursion

We'll pick you up at 9 am at your hotel to begin the excursion to the Perené Valley. The first stop will be at the Kimiri Suspension Bridge, the oldest in Chanchamayo province.

Next, we'll cross the Perené Valley and learn about the legend associated with its hills. During the trip, we will observe orange groves and stop at the Villa Progreso viewpoint to view the convergence of the Chanchamayo and Paucartambo rivers, forming the Perené riverbed. These rivers originate from the Huaytapallana Mountains.

We will then visit an Indigenous Asháninca community to learn about their customs and traditional handicrafts. Following this, we will arrive in the town of Yurinaki for a lunch break.

After lunch, we'll continue to the renowned Bayoz and Velo de la Novia waterfalls, which rise over 100 meters. On the return, we will stop at the Highland Coffee factory to understand the coffee production process. La Merced is recognized as Peru's coffee capital.

After a nine-hour tour, we will return you to your hotel in La Merced.
