Perené Valley & Chanchamayo Waterfalls Excursion

We'll pick you up at 9 am at your hotel for an excursion to the Perené Valley. Our first stop will be at the Kimiri Suspension Bridge, the oldest in Chanchamayo.

Then, we'll cross the Perené Valley and hear the legend associated with the hills. During our journey, we'll see orange groves and stop at the Villa Progreso viewpoint for views of the confluence of the Chanchamayo and Paucartambo rivers, which form the Perené riverbed.

Next, we will visit an Indigenous Asháninca community to learn about their customs and traditional handicrafts. We will then have free time for lunch in the town of Yurinaki.

After lunch, we will visit the famous waterfalls of Chanchamayo: Bayoz and Velo de la Novia (Bride's Veil), both over 100 meters high. On our way back, we will stop at the Highland Coffee factory to understand coffee production, as La Merced is known as the coffee capital of Peru.

Finally, after a nine-hour tour, we'll drop you off at your hotel in La Merced.
