Want to know what the world's most expensive coffee is and how it's made? Don't miss a single detail of the process with this organic coffee tour through the Rainforest farm from La Merced.

Rainforest Farm Organic Coffee Tour

The most expensive coffee in the world comes from the stomach of a mammal, with Misha coffee costing over 1000 dollars per kilo.

We will pick you up at your hotel in La Merced at the indicated time to visit the Rainforest farm, a key center for organic coffee production in Chanchamayo. Upon arrival, enjoy a hot cup of coffee or an ice cream.

This tour includes discovering how the exclusive Misha coffee is made. The beans are ingested by a coati, mixed with fruits, and then excreted, transforming into a delicious coffee with some willing to pay up to 75 dollars per cup.

We will also visit the Misha Conservation Centre to learn about the care given to coatis for coffee production and observe the compost production method used for coffee crops.

A lunch break will include a starter, main course, and drink, followed by a visit to the organic coffee, pineapple, and medicinal plant crops on the farm.

Finally, we will return to La Merced and drop you off at your hotel after a total of 10 hours.
