Want to know what the world's most expensive coffee is and how it's made? Don't miss a single detail of the process with this organic coffee tour through the Rainforest farm from La Merced.

Rainforest Farm Organic Coffee Tour

The most expensive coffee in the world is derived from the stomach of a mammal, with Misha coffee costing more than 1000 dollars per kilo.

We'll pick you up at your hotel in La Merced at the specified time to visit the Rainforest farm, known for organic coffee production in Chanchamayo. Upon arrival, enjoy a hot cup of coffee or an ice cream.

This tour includes discovering how Misha coffee is made. The beans are ingested by a coati or mishasho, mixed with fruits in its stomach, and excreted as a delicious coffee costing up to 75 dollars per cup.

We'll visit the Misha Conservation Centre to learn about the care provided to coatis for producing this coffee. The method of compost production for coffee crops will also be shown.

After a lunch break with a starter, main course, and drink, we will tour the organic coffee, pineapple, and medicinal plant crops on the farm.

We'll return to La Merced and drop you off at your hotel after a total of 10 hours.
