Tarma & Chanchamayo Waterfalls Excursion

We'll pick you up at your hotel in La Merced at 8 am to take a tour around the province of Chanchamayo.

We'll start by visiting the Velo de la Novia de Pan de Azúcar waterfall, distinguishing it from another waterfall of the same name in the Perené Valley. Afterward, we will pass through La Virgen tunnel, known as the 'golden door' to the central jungle, to reach the Ducha del Diablo waterfall.

Next, we'll visit the Yanango and Carpapata viewpoints for views of the highlands and the Peruvian jungle.

Then we'll go to Acobamba in the province of Tarma. Here, we will visit the National Sanctuary of Muruhuay, dedicated to the Lord of Muruhuay.

From there, we will see the Huagapo Cave, one of the deepest in South America, known for its stalactite and stalagmite formations.

Afterward, we'll return to Muruhay for free time for lunch. Finally, we'll head to the city of Tarma, also known as the Pearl of the Andes, for a guided tour through its streets, including the Plaza de Armas and the Odria Museum.

After the tour of Tarma, we will return to La Merced and drop you off at your hotel, after a nine-hour excursion.
