Explore the most spectacular park in Chandigarh during our tour of the Rock Garden. Discover the ceramic sculptures and visit the serene Sukhna Lake.

Rock Garden and Sukhna Lake Tour

After meeting at the gates of Rock Garden at the selected start time, we begin our tour, seeing thousands of sculptures made with recycled materials. In 1960, a local artist started cleaning up a small forest and created art from bits of glass and plastic collected.

Nek Chand's project features paths, waterfalls, and sculptures, symbolizing the city. Over 5000 people visit Rock Garden daily.

Next, we explore Nagar Van forest park, known as City Forest, ideal for hiking. Discover numerous trails, a bridge, and a hidden cabin in this tranquil area, where over 20 bird species can be heard.

We then proceed to the Lake Sukhna reservoir, created in 1958 by damming a water stream from the Sivalik Hills at the foot of the Himalayas. This area has become a favored recreational space for Chandigarh's residents.

After approximately 2 hours touring these parklands, our tour concludes on the shores of Lake Sukhna.
