Rock Garden and Sukhna Lake Tour

Meet at the gates of Rock Garden at the selected start time to begin the tour. Discover thousands of sculptures made with recycled materials, created by a local artist starting in 1960 from gathered glass and plastic.

Nek Chand's project features paths, waterfalls, and sculptures, symbolizing the city, with over 5000 daily visitors to Rock Garden.

Next, we explore Nagar Van, or City Forest, ideal for hiking. This park offers numerous trails, a bridge, and a hidden cabin, with more than 20 bird species present.

We then proceed to Lake Sukhna, created in 1958 by damming a stream from the Sivalik Hills at the foot of the Himalayas, and a popular recreation area for Chandigarh residents.

After approximately 2 hours of exploring these beautiful parks, the tour concludes on the shores of Lake Sukhna.
