Minoan's World 3D Museum and 9D Cinema

9D cinema exists and you can find it at Minoan's World in Chania! Experience a nine-dimensional movie with features like vibrating seats, wind, snow, rain, smoke, bubbles, and lightning. Upon arrival, you'll be assigned seats to watch the film that explores Greek mythology and historical events, including the origins of Knossos, and episodes with Icarus and Daedalus, and entering the labyrinth of the Minotaur. After the movie, visit the Minoan's World 3D Museum to discover interactive sculptures and murals. Typically, visitors watch the film before touring the museum, but this order may vary based on theater availability.

Opening times

When making your reservation, you'll select your preferred time to visit:

Monday to Saturday: October 28 to November 4, from 11 am to 5 pm, shows every half hour, last show at 4.30 pm.Monday to Saturday: November 5 to November 30, from 11 am to 4 pm, shows every half hour, last show at 3.30 pm.

The movie headsets are available in 11 languages: English, Greek, German, Polish, Russian, Dutch, French, Finnish, Danish, Norwegian, and Swedish.

Children under 3 years old

All ages are welcome! Children under 3 years old go free, provided they sit on their parent or guardian's lap during the film. If they require their own seat, a child's ticket must be purchased.
