Château de Chantilly Castle

The Château de Chantilly consists of three areas: the painting gallery, the palatial rooms, and the library. In the gallery, see masterpieces such as the Portrait of Cardinal Richelieu and the painting of Simonetta Vespucci. The luxurious royal rooms were renovated in the 19th century by the Duke of Aumale, while the library holds a collection of over 60,000 volumes, including The Very Rich Hours of the Duke of Berry.

Grandes Écuries (Stables)

The Château is open every day (except Tuesdays) from 10:30 am to 5 pm, with the gardens open from 10:30 am to 6 pm, and the stables from 12 noon to 5 pm. Final admission is one hour before closing. The castle will be closed from January 5 to 23, 2026, and on September 13, 2026. The Reading Room will be unavailable from January 23, 2026.
