Tour Highlights

We will begin your adventure with a pickup from your hotel in Chapada dos Guimarães at the scheduled time. The hiking route stretches about 10 kilometers (6 miles) and is located within the Aroe Jari Cavern Tourist Complex, set on the grounds of the Água Fria farm.

As we progress along the path, we will have the opportunity to explore three stunning caves, culminating in our visit to the famous Gruta da Lagoa Azul (Blue Lagoon Grotto). This journey not only offers natural wonders but also takes you through the historical narratives of the area's early inhabitants.

Did you know this complex hosts some of the largest sandstone caves across South America? The Aroe Jari Cavern proudly holds the title of the largest cave in Brazil, so be sure to capture the moments with your camera! Along the way, we will encounter unique rock formations, such as the Ponte de Pedra and Pedra do Equilíbrio.

Our exploration will conclude with a visit to the Gruta da Lagoa Azul, renowned for its stunning crystal-clear waters, offering a slice of paradise!

During our journey, we will take a break for lunch, enjoying a delightful local dish featuring plantain farofa, fried fish, or chicken served with rice, salad, and beans.

As we wrap up the hiking experience, we will enjoy a refreshing swim at Cachoeira do Relógio—an ideal retreat for relaxation! After approximately eight hours of hiking, we will return you to your hotel.
