Guided through the historic streets of Charleston’s French Quarter, you will learn about the sea's significance to the city, noting the impacts of pirates, natural disasters, and wars on local cuisine.

First, enjoy South Carolina-style barbecue, considered one of the oldest barbecue traditions in the world. Following this, the tour includes a stroll through the Charleston market where you will have the opportunity to try fried green tomatoes.

The walking tour includes a visit to a local pub for homemade treats. Many dishes will be prepared by descendants of Scottish and Irish immigrants, who historically made up almost 50% of the local population.
