Go on a culinary adventure in Chefchaouen when you join this food tour of the Blue City. Taste local dishes and indulge in authentic Moroccan cuisine.
Tour Details
We'll meet in front of the Parador Hotel at the scheduled time to begin this food tour of Chefchaouen.
During the tour, we'll walk through its characteristic blue streets, visiting emblematic places like the Ras El Maa (the city's water fountain), the Medina, and its lively souks.
We will stop at several street stalls to sample various Moroccan dishes, including sweet almond cream amlou, honey and argan oil, plus either kalinti or bissara, two savory recipes from the north.
The walking tour will also visit notable spots such as the Mellah, the old Jewish quarter, Place El Haouta, and Souika, one of the oldest shopping streets. We will taste local specialties including traditional Moroccan bread, a selection of pastries, and traditional tea.
We'll conclude by passing through the Place Outa El Hammam, as we walk around the Kasbah and see the Great Mosque from the outside. The tour lasts for 3 hours and ends at a central point in town.
