Join us for a guided walking tour in Chefchaouen, where we will delve into the rich history of this enchanting city nestled in the Rif Mountains, famously referred to as the blue city of Morocco. Are you ready to discover its charms?

Tour Overview

Our guided walking tour of Chefchaouen will commence at the prearranged time in a central area of the city. Are you excited to uncover the stunning spots within the blue city of Morocco? Let’s embark on this journey!

We will first head towards the Spanish quarter in Chefchaouen, where we will explore the historical connections between Spain and Morocco throughout the ages. What stories does the colonial past of this region hold?

Next, we will stroll through the ancient medina of Chefchaouen, stopping to admire the façade of the Grand Mosque. Our journey continues to Plaza Utta-el-Hamman, where we will encounter the striking Kasbah, also known as Alcazaba. Did you know it was constructed in the 15th century, specifically in 1471, by Rachid Ben Ali to safeguard the city?

As we wander through the historic gates of the city wall, namely Bab Ell Ain, Bab Souk, and Bab Onsar, we will marvel at Chefchaouen's iconic blue houses and delve into the reasons behind their unique indigo hues.

After an engaging two hours of exploration, we will conclude our tour in Chefchaouen. We look forward to our next adventure together!
