Tour Details
We'll begin our tour at the designated time at a central location in the city. Our first stop will be the Spanish neighbourhood in Chefchaouen, where we will learn about the historical connections between Spain and Morocco.
Next, we will explore the ancient medina of Chefchaouen and admire the exterior of the Grand Mosque. We will also visit Plaza Utta-el-Hamman to see the Kasbah or Alcazaba, which dates back to the 15th century, built in 1471 by Rachid Ben Ali to protect the city.
Our route will then take us to the old city wall gates: Bab Ell Ain, Bab Souk, and Bab Onsar. As we walk under these gates, we will observe Chefchaouen's famous blue houses and learn about the significance of their indigo color.
After 2 hours, we will conclude our tour of Chefchaouen. Until next time!
