Let the verdant landscapes of Morocco's Talassemtane National Park captivate you on this private hike to the spectacular Akchour Waterfalls from Chefchaouen.

Hike Details

Escape into Morocco's lush natural landscapes, enjoying a dip in the famous Akchour Waterfalls. At the specified time, you will be picked up from your hotel to take a taxi. After a 35-minute drive, we will arrive at Akchour, a village in the Rif Mountains.

We will start our two-hour hike through Talassemtane National Park. The trek culminates at the magnificent Akchour Waterfalls, where you can enjoy the sound of the cascading waters into natural pools. Afterward, we will head to the waterfall for a refreshing dip and have lunch with a view. You can bring your own picnic or opt for a tajine from local food stalls.

Following lunch, a new hiking route will take us to an entrance of Talassemtane National Park. We will then return via taxi to Chefchaouen, concluding a 7-hour adventure.

Pickup

This activity includes pickup from accommodation in central Chefchaouen. If your accommodation is outside this area, pickup will occur at the specified time from Hotel Madrid.

Itinerary changes

During certain times of the year, the waterfalls may have reduced water flow. You will have two options: visit the waterfalls and enjoy hiking, or opt for a combo trip to include both the smaller waterfalls and God's Bridge.
