Take a break from the heat of the city and escape into Morocco's lush natural landscapes, enjoying a dip in the famous Akchour Waterfalls! At the specified time on the day of your excursion, pickup will be arranged from your hotel to catch a taxi. After a 35-minute drive, you will reach Akchour, a small village nestled in the Rif Mountains.

Once at this protected natural area of Morocco, you'll set off on a hiking trail through Talassemtane. The two-hour trek will be well worth the effort, as the magnificent Akchour Waterfalls await at the end of the route.

Immerse yourself in the serenity – can you hear it? The sound of water crashing into the natural pools below is a spectacle in itself. You'll then approach the waterfall for a refreshing dip in the cool waters before enjoying lunch with a view beside the falls. Don't forget to bring your own picnic, or if you prefer, enjoy a tajine from one of the local food stalls!

After lunch, a new hiking route will take you to one of the entrances of the Talassemtane National Park. From there, you will take a taxi back to Chefchaouen. Expect to return to the city after 7 hours of an unforgettable day of adventure.

Pickup

This activity includes pickup from accommodation in the centre of Chefchaouen. If you are not staying in this area, pickup will be arranged at the specified time from Hotel Madrid.

Itinerary Changes

Depending on the time of year, there may be periods when the waterfalls have a reduced water flow. In such cases, two options will be provided: you can still visit the waterfalls and enjoy the hiking experience, or a combo trip can be arranged to visit both the smaller waterfalls and the impressive God's Bridge. The choice is yours to ensure a memorable experience regardless of the water flow conditions.
