Let yourself be enchanted by Morocco's Blue City on this private guided tour of Chefchaouen, one of the most beautiful destinations in the Rif Mountains.

Private Guided Tour of Chefchaouen

Indigo, cobalt, azure, sapphire, turquoise... whichever synonym you prefer, one single colour stands out in Chefchaouen: blue. Ready to discover why? At your preferred time, meet your guide in front of Hotel Madrid, where our walking tour of the city's picturesque historic centre will begin.

First, we’ll walk through the Spanish Quarter of Chefchaouen, learning about the connections between Spain and Morocco. Your English-speaking guide will reveal insights about the city's past as you admire its architecture.

The tour continues through the old Medina. You will explore the winding, cobbled streets, see the façades of the Place Outa Hammam, an imposing 14th-century fortress (Kasbah), and the Great Mosque. We’ll also visit the old gates in the city wall: Bab El Ain, Bab Souk, and Bab Onsar. Among the old entrances, you will find the iconic blue houses of Chefchaouen.

At the end of your two-and-a-half-hour walking tour, we’ll make our way back to Place Mohammed V. Alternatively, you can choose to end the tour at the souk or another location in the old town.
