Tour Details

After meeting at the entrance to Hotel Madrid, we will travel by minibus from Chefchaouen to the coastal town of Oued Laou. The journey takes approximately 35 minutes, leading us to Knadel Cave, located in Talassemtane National Park.

Knadel Cave has been associated with numerous myths and legends. Participants will be equipped with helmets and other necessary gear for the caving adventure. Throughout the exploration, we will learn geological facts while observing stalactites and stalagmites. Ghar Knadel, its Arabic name, features a network of underground galleries displaying various rock formations and a spectrum of limestone colors, including brown, ochre, pink, and white.

Your English-speaking guide will share intriguing legends about Knadel Cave. At the conclusion of the caving route, we will return to the minibus for our journey back to Chefchaouen, arriving approximately 7 hours after pickup.

Who can participate in this activity?

A good level of physical fitness is required.This tour is not suitable for individuals with heart or back problems or for pregnant women.No prior caving experience is necessary.
