Activity Details

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Chengdu and go directly to the Dujiangyan Panda Bear Reserve, located approximately two hours away.

Upon arrival, you'll wear the same uniform as the staff and tour the facilities where the panda bears live. This area features natural vegetation and bamboo.

Next, you'll observe how the volunteers prepare the panda's food and feed them. Pandas consume more than just bamboo. After assisting the staff with various tasks, including preparing the sleeping areas for the animals, you'll have lunch in the employees' cafeteria.

After lunch, a documentary about panda bears will be screened. You'll also prepare a snack for the animals— a fruit and corn cake that they enjoy.

Finally, a brief stop will be made at Dujiangyan Zhongshug, recognized as one of the most beautiful bookstores globally. After exploring, you'll return to your hotel in Chengdu, concluding approximately 7 hours of activity.

Minimum Age

Access to the Dujiangyan Panda Reserve is permitted only for individuals aged between 8 and 70.
