Chester Sightseeing Bus
This double-decker open-top bus offers views of the main streets and tourist attractions in this Roman City. The route includes 15 stops, allowing you to hop on and off freely. Key sights include the UK’s best-preserved city walls, the medieval Rows, black and white Victorian houses, the racecourse, and the peaceful River Dee.
The bus operates one route from Mondays to Saturdays and a different one on Sundays. You can check the stops and routes for more information.
How does it work?
The ticket is valid for either 24 or 48 hours from the first use. For example, a 48-hour ticket activated on Monday at 3 pm will be valid until Wednesday at 3 pm.
During this period, you can hop on and off as often as you wish, allowing you to visit attractions like the medieval walls, Roman amphitheatre, and the Eastgate clock, which is known as the most photographed clock in England after Big Ben.
Important
When purchasing a ticket, a date must be specified; however, the ticket can be used within the 12 months following that date.
An email with a voucher will be sent after booking, which must be presented on your first bus ride.
The sightseeing bus operates every 30 minutes from 9:30 am to 5:48 pm.
