Chester Sightseeing Bus

This double-decker open-top sightseeing bus provides views of the main streets and attractions in this Roman City. The route includes 15 stops, allowing you to hop on and off freely. Key sights include the best-preserved city walls in the UK, the medieval Rows, black and white Victorian houses, the racecourse, and the River Dee.

On Mondays to Saturdays, the bus follows one route, while on Sundays it follows another. You can check the stops and the routes.

How does it work?

The ticket is valid for either 24 or 48 hours after initial use. For example, a 48-hour ticket activated on Monday at 3 pm will be valid until Wednesday at 3 pm. You can hop on and off as desired to explore attractions like the medieval walls, the Roman amphitheatre, and the Eastgate clock, the second most photographed clock in England.

Important

When purchasing a ticket, you must specify a date, but the ticket can be used within 12 months of that date. After booking, you will receive an email with a voucher, which must be presented on your first bus. The sightseeing bus operates every 30 minutes from 9:30 am to 5:48 pm.
