Located just outside Chiang Mai are the Buddhist temples of Wat U-Mong and Doi Suthep. Enjoy these temples at a beautiful time of the day.

Evening Tour of Chiang Mai's Temples

On this half-day sunset tour, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Chiang Mai and set off on a tour of Chiang Mai's most stunning temples.

After a short drive, we'll arrive at our first stop, Wat U-Mong, a 700-year-old temple built in 1297, known for its underground tunnels and forest surroundings. Exploring this site in the afternoon offers fewer crowds and beautiful views.

During our visit, we'll explore the underground tunnels, appreciate the temple grounds, and admire the surrounding forest.

Next, we'll travel to Doi Suthep Temple and Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. Here, you'll enjoy a spectacular sunset illuminating the architecture—remember your camera! From this decorated temple, located at the top of a 309-step staircase, we’ll enjoy views of Chiang Mai at night.

At dusk, you will have the opportunity to participate in a traditional monk ceremony at the Golden Pagoda.

After a total of 4.5 hours, we'll return you to the starting point.
