On this day trip from Chiang Mai to the city of Chiang Rai, visit the White Temple, Blue Temple, and relax at the Mae Kachan Hot Springs. Also, immerse in the culture of the Hill Tribe Long Neck village.

Tour Details

Meet at 2-6 Rachadamnoen Rd to begin the day trip to Chiang Rai, surrounded by Thailand’s landscapes.

After a 3-hour ride, we will visit the hot springs at Mae Kajan. Bring your bathing suit to enjoy the warm mineral waters.

Next, we’ll visit the Long Neck Hill Tribe Village, known for women wearing brass rings. Learn about the cultural significance of this tradition. If you prefer to skip this visit, a nearby café offers a short break.

Continuing, we'll reach the White Temple, recognized for its gleaming white architecture. With our guide, we’ll explore the intricate features, especially the glass work that represents Buddha's wisdom.

Then, we’ll visit the Blue Temple, distinguished by its blue facades and golden accents, adorned with colorful dragon sculptures.

Lastly, we’ll arrive at the Hauyplakang Temple, featuring a 9-tiered pagoda with Buddha statues. Ascending reveals the statue of Guan Yin, the Goddess of Mercy, and panoramic views of Thailand’s landscape await at the top.

We will return to the starting point, concluding our experience in 11 to 12 hours.

Long Neck Hill Tribe Visit

The visit to the Long Neck Hill Tribe is optional and lasts approximately 30 to 45 minutes with a supplemental fee of 300 THB. If you choose not to participate, you can enjoy a break at nearby cafes.
