Description
Pickup from your hotel in Chiang Mai occurs between 7 and 8 am for breakfast before a 1.5-hour drive to the Elephant Conservation Center.
Upon arrival, center managers will explain the conservation project aimed at improving the elephants' quality of life. Afterward, you will feed the elephants cucumbers.
Following the feeding, a 1.5-mile (2.5 km) walk alongside the elephants will take you to a river to observe their bathing. A vehicle will be waiting to transport you to a nearby waterfall for a swim in the refreshing waters.
After swimming, lunch will be served at a local restaurant, typically including a meat dish, papaya salad, fried rice, and vegetables, with vegan or vegetarian options available upon request.
The trip concludes with a return to your hotel in Chiang Mai, arriving between 4 and 5 pm.
