Chicago Medieval Torture Museum

Welcome to the Medieval Torture Museum in Chicago. Your ticket grants you access to an exhibition featuring the most fearsome objects and instruments used for torture in the Middle Ages. Enter if you dare!

The museum is an interactive experience with over 100 artefacts related to the world of torture. You can learn about the purposes of these contraptions and the parts of the body they affected, aided by an audio guide included with your ticket.

As you explore the exhibitions, you will encounter wax sculptures of both victims and executioners, providing insight into the punishments and executions from the Middle Ages.

Opening times

The opening hours of the Chicago Torture Museum are as follows:

Monday to Thursday: 10 am to 8 pmFriday to Sunday: 10 am to 9 pm
