Chicago Medieval Torture Museum

Welcome to Chicago's chilling Medieval Torture Museum. With your ticket, you'll have access to an exhibition featuring the most fearsome objects and instruments used for torture in the Middle Ages. Enter if you dare!

The museum is an interactive space with more than 100 artefacts and tools related to the world of torture. Discover the uses of these contraptions and the parts of the body they targeted, while listening to the included audio guide.

As you explore the exhibitions, you will see wax sculptures of both the victims and the executioners, offering insights into the history of punishments and executions in the Middle Ages.

Opening times

The opening hours of the Chicago Torture Museum are as follows:

Monday to Thursday: 10 am to 8 pmFriday to Sunday: 10 am to 9 pm
