Chicago Theatre Tour

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the entrance of the Chicago Theatre and start this guided tour of the most famous theater in Chicago and one of the most significant in the United States.

The Chicago Theatre was inaugurated in 1921, reflecting an elegant style. The impressive hall was inspired by the Royal Chapel of Versailles and has a capacity for 3,600 people.

After four decades of success, it faced a decline at the end of the 1970s, becoming a decadent cinema. However, in 1986, it was saved from demolition and reopened with a concert by Frank Sinatra.

Since then, notable artists such as Alicia Keys and Van Morrison have performed at the theatre. During the tour, we will learn about its history from a professional guide, walk through the elegant main hall, and climb the luxurious staircase. You'll appreciate the size and acoustics of the auditorium.

Additionally, we'll visit the Theatre's dressing rooms and stand on the same stage where artists like Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin have performed.

Temporary Closure

At times, some areas of the Chicago Theatre may be restricted during the tour due to shows taking place there.
