Day Trip Details

At the indicated time, we'll meet at number 87 of Ctra. de Medina de Chiclana de la Frontera and head towards the Costa del Atún, the most famous coastal area of the province of Cádiz.

Our first stop will be Bolonia Beach, where the Baelo Claudia archaeological site is located. We'll learn about the history of this ancient Roman enclave while walking through the remains of its salting factory, where garum was prepared.

After visiting Baelo Claudia, we'll proceed to Tarifa, the southernmost city in Western Europe. A guided tour of its old town will include the Puerta de Jerez, the church of San Francisco, and the exterior of the Castle of Guzmán el Bueno. You will then have an hour of free time to enjoy a local meal and taste traditional tuna recipes.
