On our 3-Day Tour around Creel and the Copper Canyon, we'll travel through breathtaking scenery aboard the famous Chepe Express. Join us on our unforgettable adventure through the Sierra Tarahumara!

3-Day Tour Details

Day 1: Chihuahua - Creel

We will pick you up from your hotel in Chihuahua and travel to Creel, visiting the Mennonite community of Cuauhtémoc, a regional museum, the Américas cheese factory, and a local bakery for lunch. After lunch, we will explore Lake Arareco, Los Hongos and Ranas Valley, the Jesuit mission of San Ignacio, and a cave of the Tarahumara Indigenous people. We will then arrive in Creel for dinner and rest.

Day 2: Creel - Divisadero

After breakfast, we will board the Chepe Express to Divisadero, enjoying views of the Sierra Tarahumara. Upon arrival, we will check into our hotel and have lunch. You will have 4 hours to explore the Copper Canyon Adventure Park, participate in activities, and visit viewpoints. Dinner will be at the hotel in the evening.

Day 3: Divisadero - Chihuahua

After breakfast, you will have 1-hour of free time for hiking near the Copper Canyon. We will then return to your hotel in Chihuahua, arriving by 3 PM.

Partial Closures

The Mennonite community of Cuauhtémoc is closed on Sundays. If your tour coincides with this date, we will replace the visit with a lunch at a Mennonite restaurant.

Accommodation Info

This tour includes 2 nights' accommodation: 1 night in Hacienda Don Armando (4 stars) in Creel and 1 night in Hotel Divisadero Barrancas (4 stars) in Divisadero.

Additional Info

If 2 adults and 1 child share a room, book 2 adults in a double room and 1 child separately. If 1 adult and 1 child share a room, book 1 adult in a single room and 1 child separately. Only 1 reservation per room type is allowed.

The Mennonite community of Cuauhtémoc is closed on Sundays. If the tour coincides with this date, we will substitute this visit with lunch at a Mennonite restaurant.
